Number of women raped each hour in Congo, according to a new study published in the American Journal of Public Health — amounting to more than 400,000 women raped each year, 26 times higher than a previous United Nations estimate. The African nation of 70 million has been plagued by decades of civil war and has been called "the worst place on earth to be a woman." [via AP]
