Amount that UCLA Health System has agreed to pay in a settlement with federal regulators following allegations that hospital employees violated federal patient privacy laws and peeped at the medical records of two celebrity patients. The celebrities weren't named, but the violations occurred between 2005 and 2009, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. During that time hospital employees are known to have accessed medical records of dozens of high-profile patients, including Britney Spears, Farrah Fawcett and Maria Shriver.
