Number of times a day, college men think about sex — significantly less than the oft-cited every-seven-seconds figure — according to a new study led by Terri Fisher, a psychology professor at Ohio State University at Mansfield. In the study of 283 undergrads, men also reported thinking about food 18 times a day and sleep 11 times a day. On average, men had more daily thoughts about food, sex and sleep than did women — but not that much more. "For men to grow up being told that men think about nothing but sex, I think, is discrediting toward men," said Fisher. [via ABC News]
