I think this comes as no surprise to anyone. Moreso, it’s a point on which many word religions agree. In 1 Tim 6:10 Christians are admonished to “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.” What better endorsement of the belief that attachment is suffering?
