Micky Hart the drummer for the Grateful Dead has been working on a project with a neuroscientist on establishing the effect of rhythm on brain activity. The potential is there for therapeutic approaches..just not yet. Music therapists have known for decades the benefits of music to establish better connections both with reality as well as between people, but now increasing number of activities are being brain mapped. ]]></description>
