Being born on Oct. 10, 2010 — 10/10/10 — is allegedly very lucky. And being born at 10:10 on 10/10/10 is supposedly so lucky that women in many countries scheduled their Cesarean sections for that moment. But is it really? As a little contribution to science, TIME Healthland hereby publishes the names of 10 babies born on the luckiest minute in decades, or at least until Nov. 11 next year, so that future generations can see if their lives turn out to be historically fortunate. Keep your eye on these kids:
Kolsyn Liam Healy of Phoenix, Ohio
Charles Wolf of Brooklyn, New York
Emma Grace Bell of Bradley, Arkansas
Luke William Canfield of Mission Hills, California
Noah Edward Prado-Ramirez of Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma
Emmeline Anne Gardner, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina
Deegan Jax Fulgham of Odessa, Texas (bonus: born in Room 10!)
Rafael Hondl of Santa Clara, California (also born in Room 10!)
Ema Marie Macias of Orange County, Los Angeles
Niamh Bond of Sutton Coldfield, U.K., who was actually born at 10:10:10 a.m., eliciting a classic understatement from the British tabs, who called him “the luckiest baby in the world.”
Because you can’t control the Fates, we’ve excluded any babies who were born by planned C-section. Nothing personal.
