Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot: For Thanksgiving Day Givers

The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot is one of the largest fun runs in the U.S. Last year, Turkey Trot participants set a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as turkeys. The run has been around for more than 40 years, and supports YMCA programs in the Dallas area. On Thanksgiving Day, the costumed runners participate in either a 8-mile or 5K run. Clowns, pony rides and live musical entertainment follow the race so the whole family can continue celebrating the nation’s holiday.
