Coffee, Exercise May Help Women Prevent Womb Cancer

Researchers say working out and a little coffee might help fend off the disease

Thirty minutes of daily exercise, a balanced diet and, yes, coffee could lower the risk of developing womb cancer, according to new research. However, while a recent report from the World Cancer Research Fund found that the consumption of coffee may help fend off uterine cancer, there was not enough empirical evidence to suggest that the caffeinated brew was a silver bullet in preventing the onset of the disease.

In another report published by researchers at the Imperial College London, researchers suggested that 3,700 cases of womb cancer could be prevented every year “if women were active for 38 minutes a day and maintained a healthy body weight.”
