With the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics just around the bend, subways stations in Moscow are getting into the athletic spirit.
Muscovites who commute by train can now earn free rides if they complete thirty squats on newly installed interactive machines in the Russian capital’s subway stations. (But cheaters be warned: according to a report in Mashable, the machine can detect users trying to trick their way into a free ticket.)
This being Russia, there’s always the potential the machine could be used as both a health device and as part of a drinking game, so keep an eye out for inebriated residents eking out thirty squats infused with traditional Cossack dance steps.
