- Use unsweetened cocoa powder
- Skim milk instead of whole milk
- Splenda to sweeten
- Frothed skim milk instead of whipped cream
Egg nog (1 cup): 209 calories
Alternative: (Calories reduced by 1/3)
- Replace cream with skim milk
- Use Splenda instead of syrup
- Note: this will no longer be thick
Starbucks Gingerbread Latte (tall): 260 calories

- Use skim milk
- Dissolve ground ginger in hot skim milk with Splenda (instead of ginger syrup)
- Frothed skim milk instead of whipped cream
Starbucks Peppermint mocha (tall): 320 calories

- 1 1/2 Tbsp Crème de Menthe (instead of syrup)
