Age group for which a federal advisory panel voted unanimously to add dosing instructions — based on weight, not age — for acetaminophen-containing medicines like Children's Tylenol. The liquid formulas have never offered dosing information for children under 2, to encourage parents to "consult a doctor" for sick infants. But the lack of information leads to confusion, the FDA panel said. Acetaminophen-related overdoses are most common among children under 2, and have increased over the past decade. [via AP]
