— Percent of family physicians expected to be using electronic health records in 2013

That’s more than double the proportion that were using electronic health records in 2005, according to study published in the Annals of Family Medicine. Adoption of the digital files still varies considerably by state, however, with 88% of family doctors in Hawaii and 95% of those in Utah relying on electronic records and only 44% of those in North Carolina and 47% in North Dakota using them.
